About the federal tax credit

The federal Energy Efficient Home Improvement Credit (Section 25C) — 30% of cost up to $1,200/year — expired on December 31, 2025 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Insulation installed in 2026 is not eligible for this credit. We mention this so you can plan honestly; the Energy Trust cash incentives above remain available.
